Lady Vikings Basketball Season Preview & Roster

"This is the most depth that we have had in the program. We have nine players on our team, and they are all capable of having a positive impact on the game. We will begin the season with a couple of girls out with injuries. Once we get to full strength, it should be very exciting," said Coach Brotherton.

The Lady Vikings will play a tough schedule, as they look to get tested early in the season. The coaching staff hopes that these tests will help the team to learn, improve, and become tougher.

"We have put together an extremely difficult schedule. We are playing in some big time tournaments, which includes the Nike Tournament of Champions in Phoenix, Arizona. We are also multiple state-ranked opponents, to help us prepare for our District schedule," explained Coach Brotherton.

 

Senior captain, Kennedy Donovan, is very excited for her Senior season, "We're young, but our culture is about doing things the right way, and because of that, we will be one of the best teams in the State. We are more talented than any other team in the history of the program, and we have the work ethic and dedication to build on the foundation that past players and coaches have set for us. As we put in the work, there is no limit to our possible success."
